Addie Cooke

Cloud AI Public Policy Lead at Google

Addie Cooke is the public policy lead for enterprise AI at Google. In this role she supports Google Cloud's engagements on current and emerging AI policy files around the world. She also advises internal teams integration of Google's AI Principles, and forthcoming regulations and international standards. Beyond her work on policy files, she works with teams on product launches, technology partnerships, and customer engagements.

Before working in AI policy, Addie’s public service career included roles in the Texas Legislature, United States Senate, AmeriCorps Vista in East LA public housing, and Peace Corps in El Salvador. She also worked on a campaign to support the Obama Administration's reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba.

Addie holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and MPP from the University of Virginia. Outside of work, she serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children.

Jessica Yeats

Principal Data Scientist, Autonomous Vehicles at NVIDIA

Jessica Yeats serves as a Principal Data Scientist for NVIDIA’s Autonomous Driving unit. Prior to NVIDIA, she worked at McKinsey and Company where she led the development of a proprietary dataset and advanced analytics toolkit for predictive lead generation for insurance payors. She subsequently led the data science team at Raven Ops where she developed a methodology for identifying hostile aircraft in uncorrelated FAA radar returns. She received her PhD in Quantitative Policy Analysis from the RAND Graduate School in 2015. Her dissertation comprised three papers on the economics of testing and treating high risk groups for latent tuberculosis infection. She was named the 2nd overall individual speaker at the 2007 National Debate Tournament and was awarded the William J. Taylor fellowship at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, given to one collegiate policy debater annually. She splits her time between Chicago and her home state of Idaho.
